I am a 33 year old mother of two. I have been married for 5 years to my wonderful red-headed knight in shinning armor. Our kids are 10 months and 2.5 years old. I was a computer programmer at a large university when we got married. I quit to stay home with our first child as he had some difficulties with GERD. I have since been doing some independent contracting to help keep up with the software world. Most of my experience is in Java and open source software, although my husband is a Microsoft programmer and over the last few years I have been convereted. It was a slow process, and I certainly didn’t go quietly.
I named this blog ‘This Behavior is By Design’. Seems like very little is done on accident in my life. I am always developing a strategy, whether it is cooking dinner, writing code, or trying to get the kids to bed on time. There is always a method to my madness.
